Just a smattering of information about Dichroic
glass. It was originaly made for the aero space
industry. It has multi-layer coatings which include
metal oxides that are deposited on the glass. With
the colors shifting as the angle of view changes,
it has been viewed as similar to irridescent dragonfly
wings and peacock feathers. This Dichroic glass is
wirewrapped in sterling silver and is approx 3/4"
x 1 1/4", including bail it is 1 1/2" x 1 5/8"
