BLUE ABALONE

This blue abalone triplet is 25 x 18mm. It is wrapped in
sterling silver wire and the finished pendant is 2" high
by 3/4"wide.

Abalone is Any of various large edible marine gastropods of the
genus Haliotis,(That sounds to me like a very rare animal having
bad breath) with an ear-shaped shell with a row of
holes along the outer edge. The colorful pearly interior
of the shell is often used for making ornaments. Also
called ear shell.
